Jennifer Lopez sent spies on her husband?s tour

spl69354_001
The rumor mill just keeps rolling along on the subject of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's marriage. If you believe the tabloids, the union is crumbling fast. Some say Marc Anthony is a controlling womanizer; others say J. Lo is high maintenance and has an uncontrollable jealous streak. Maybe the truth is somewhere in between. All I know is, J.Lo doesn't exactly have a fabulous track record with any of her husbands - seems like she bolts as soon as the relationship gets tough. Page Six is reporting that Lopez was so worried about her husband cheating on her while he was on tour and she was at home with the babies, she sent her assistants along with Anthony to keep an eye on him.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have recently been photographed without their wedding rings, but the marital discord apparently started much earlier. Despite the fact that the couple renewed its vows in October, a source tells Page Six that Lopez used to send her assistant on tour with Anthony while she stayed at home with their twins. "She wanted reports back so he didn't cheat on her," says our source. Lopez and Anthony are also reportedly selling the $8.5 million Bel Air estate where they were wed in June 2004. Lopez's rep did not respond to a request for comment.

[From Page Six]

This isn't the first time Jennifer has gone to extremes when it comes to suspicion of cheating. When she was dating P. Diddy, there were reports that J.Lo would show up unannounced at his hotel rooms while he was on tour, banging on the door and demanding to be let in. Turned out she had good reason, because a few years later he admitted to cheating on Lopez pretty much their entire relationship. But gee, I don't know why Jennifer would be so worried about Marc cheating on her while she's at home with his babies - maybe because that's exactly what he did to his previous wife so he could hook up with her?

If it doesn't start out right, it doesn't end up right. This marriage was a joke from the start. Two preening swans have a hard time sharing the same nest. On the other hand, they deserve each other.

it doesn't matter what a man or woman look like, what they have, famous or not famous, married or single, if it is in a person to cheat, they are going to cheat. so all you women and men out there who think that some one comes to you because their other mate isn't good enough for them or doesnt look good enough for them, or for any reason, dont think that you are special because that is what a person does when they want cheat and the man or woman could be anybody that gave them the time of day. we may not be able to control who we love but we certainly can control who we marry and have kids by. this woman knew his tract record and just like many men and women who think they are the one to chnage a person. these kind of people get bored fast and ready to go out and do their thing like they use to, but one day when they are old and gray and no one is there for them, thats when they start to have many regrets.

Once a cheater, always a cheater and she should be well aware of karma. I don't know why woman are attracted to Skeletor since he looks like he's been dead for months. Must be necrophilia?

Jenny from the block must have gotten bored with her 12th (is it?) husband

J.LO should divorce Skeletor and just concentrate on her kids and career. After all, I always got the the impression that she only married him because she was desperate for children.

Poooor little JLo.

RReedy: "preening swans" is so right on, plus swans get pretty darn vicious when they want to. Ah, yes, the circle of deception continues unabated. I guess his cheating was okay when the wife was someone else. That shoe doesn't feel so good on JLo's prima donna footsies, now does it? Poooor little JLo. LOL!

Tina Fey voted Entertainer of the Year by AP

emmy pressroom 260908

The accolades keep coming for writer/actress Tina Fey. She was named "Entertainer of the Year" by the Associated Press, beating out Robert Downey Jr. and Heath Ledger for the award. The "30 Rock" creator, writer and star had a busy year, including her first leading role in a movie, the female buddy comedy "Baby Mama" co-starring her partner in SNL hilarity Amy Poehler. She also won two Emmy awards and helped to make SNL politically relevant again with her repeat guest performances as VP candidate Sarah Palin. My favorite line from those appearances was this one: "I believe that marriage meant to be a sacred institution between two unwilling teenagers."
VP Debate - Tina Fey as Sarah Palin

Fey was voted The Associated Press' Entertainer of the Year, an annual honor chosen by newspaper editors and broadcast producers across the country. Fey was selected by AP members as the performer who had the greatest impact on culture and entertainment in 2008.

The 38-year-old comedian bested runner-up Robert Downey Jr., whose comeback was capped with the blockbuster smash "Iron Man," and the third-place vote-getter, Heath Ledger, who posthumously wowed audiences as the Joker in "The Dark Knight."

But it was Fey who most impressed voters largely with her indelible impression of Gov. Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live." Her cameos on her old show (where she had been a head writer until 2006) helped drive the show to record ratings and eventually drew an appearance from Palin herself.

"Tina Fey is such an obvious choice," said Sharon Eberson, entertainment editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "She gave us funny when we really needed it and, in a year when women in politics were making huge strides, Fey stood out in the world of entertainment."

Fey's 2008 was a full year, though.

She also starred for the first time on the big screen in "Baby Mama" (which grossed $60 million at the box office) and won three Emmys for her critically lauded NBC sitcom "30 Rock," which she created, stars in and writes. In the comedy series category, she won for best lead actress and best writing, and shared in the award for best comedy series.

"She simultaneously entertained us with her wit and put a mirror up to the nation during the election and made us think about what was going on," said Scott Shive, assistant features editor at the Lexington Herald-Leader. "She is the epitome of the smart kid coming out on top for once."

[From The Associated Press]

Congrats to Tina on an amazing year. But honestly, I've loved her ever since she went on the Howard Stern Show years ago and said that SNL guest host Paris Hilton was a piece of shit with Fraggle hair.

Hm, this seems sell-out-ish on the AP's part. Tina's awesome, but she's the obvious, non-creative choice. Baby Mama was sooo funny though!

This has nothing to do with Fey being an entertainer. This is her reward for the work she did to bash Sarah Palin.

No Tina Fey has BROUGHT it in 2008. The Palin schtick was just icing on the cake. Not only with her new TV show making high ratings, but she's a funny woman who speaks her mind. Hooray for Tina, keep at it, girl!

@elisha:

I disagree. I don't want the "Entertainer of the Year" award to go to someone I've never heard of. That would seem really out of touch. I'm not saying that there aren't people out there who are more entertaining than Tina Fey, but as far as 2008 goes, she has a lot of hits.

Does anyone care about these useless awards anymore? Isn't AP an "indepenedent" press firm? When did they get involved in the entertainment industry? Oh wait, they wanted BO to be president! Tina Fey sold out. Big deal.

Who really cares about these stupid awards other then the actors themselves. The ONLY awards that are even worth considering or putting any weight on are the "People's Choice Awards", all the rest are just Hollywood BS and politics, much like this lame ass award.

She is the ugliest women in show business and people assume that if she is ugly- she must be talented.

The sad truth she is neither.

He acting ability is so limited, that had she been conservative and had we discarded her political contribution - we are left with a very pushy and ambitious woman, who is lacking - acting- wise - and overrated at best- writing- wise.
