Marc Anthony?s ex Dayanara Torres never mentions his name in new self help book
Last week we covered a People Magazine interview with Marc Anthony's spurned ex, Dayanara Torres. Torres has a new self help book out to help women recover from divorce called Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce In the earlier article I mentioned that Torres never talked smack about Anthony in her interview with People, and that she only had good things to say about her ex and his new wife. The latest issue of The National Enquirer has more details of Torres' new book, and she takes an even higher road that we previously thought. She doesn't even mention Anthony by name in the book, and merely focuses on how devastated she was when her marriage ended and she was left alone to care for her two boys.
Jennifer Lopez's family is said to be seething that Torres dared capitalize on Lopez and Anthony's fame, but she's the one who got cheated on and dumped by Anthony. J.Lo and Marc are even living in the house on Long Island where she used to stay with her ex and their two boys. By centering on her triumph over adversity and refusing to stoop to name calling, she's coming out way ahead.
The timing of the publication of her book seems calculated to take advantage of the attention J.Lo and Marc are getting for the birth of their twins, charges an insider.
"The belief in the Lopez family is that Marc's ex only did this to capitalize on Jennifer's marriage to Marc and also because Dayanara is jealous of Marc's newfound happiness and joy of becoming a father again," said the insider.
"Dayanara can't be happy that Marc is raising the babies with J.Lo inside the opulent Long Island mansion she once shared with him and their two children"
In her new book, Dayanara never mentioned Marc or J.Lo by name, but she includes a photo of herself in her wedding gown and writes that her "ex-husband" nearly destroyed her life.

The Enquirer notes that Torres traded her engagement ring in for a "diamond-encrusted Cartier watch." She is currently raising her sons Cristian, 7, and Ryan, 4, and is working on the film The Nail: The Story of Joey Nardone. She said that she wrote Married to Me when she was unable to find a self-help book for divorcees.
Dayanara Torres is shown on 6/27/07 at the Transformers premiere, thanks to WENN.
