We told you how SNL alum and creator of the most annoying recurring character ever, "Mango," Chris Kattan, has separated from his wife of eight weeks, model Sunshine Tutt. At the time, no further details were given, except that the couple had issues they were trying to work out. Now, those "issues" are being revealed: Kattan reportedly caught his wife fooling around with an ex-boyfriend. However, her family says that Kattan was the one who was stepping out of the marriage.
The real reason the marriage of comic Chris Kattan exploded after eight weeks was because pals think one of them was cheating.
Which one? It depends on who you ask!
The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member's pals say there ain't no Sunshine in his life anymore because he caught his 31-year-old wife with an ex-boyfriend shortly after they got married on June 28.
"Chris walked in on Sunshine while she was with her ex," charged a source close to the 37-year-old star.
"He was away making a film, came home unexpectedly - and dumped her on the spot. Chris contacted his attorney and told the lawyer to 'work it out - pay her a lump sum so we can both move on.'"
Meanwhile, Sunshine's family claims it was Kattan who had wandering eyes.
"Sunshine is devastated," a family member told The Enquirer.
"I asked Sunshine, 'What happened, honey?' She told me that he met someone else!"
Her angry grandmother Jean Tutt told The Enquirer that the allegation that Sunshine returned to an old boyfriend "is a downright lie! Sunshine was absolutely crushed.
"They had been together for more than three years, and she was absolutely head over heels in love with Chris. He proposed to her at our house. And I spent my good, hard-earned money to fly out to California for their wedding - then I was shocked when they split up," said the no-nonsense Texan.
Kattan's rep denied that the couple accuse each other of cheating.'
Meanwhile, Sunshine's grandmother says the family is mourning the end of the marriage. "It was so sad because they were so good together, and she was such a great help to his career," she said.
"Personally, I never really understood what she saw in him, but that didn't matter to us."

I don't know who to believe, but Sunshine's grandmother should have her own reality show. Yes, she is delusional, but that's what makes her so awesome. She defends her granddaughter while taking a swipe at Chris. Spoken like a true grandma. But really: saying that this Sunshine chick was good for Chris Kattan's career? Seriously? Chris Kattan, of "Corky Romano" fame?

Yahhhh, considering there hasn't been much from 'ole Chris Kattan in the three years they'd been together I'd say she did the opposite of help his career.

I love Chris Kattan, lol. I miss him on SNL.
But, yeah, you don't see much of him since Saturday Night Live, so the only thing Sunshine did for his career was get him back in the tabloids when their marriage fell apart in the blink of an eye. I suppose one could see that as helping, lol. Although, he WAS on Sunset Tan when she went in to tan and the Olly Girls spent the whole time hitting on him that and the Pepsi Max commercial.

1. The most annoying returning character was not Mango. It was goatboy. Mango is a close second, though.
